All Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Medical Laboratory Technician, duly registered by the Professional Regulation Commission, are qualified to become members of the association, provided, the following requirements are met:
As stipulated in the PAMET Constitution and By-Laws, A Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician shall seek membership in the chapter nearest his/her residence or place of work. A Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician shall be a member of only one chapter. Members from the National Capital Region shall directly seek membership from the National office. All members are deemed members of the national association and not of local chapters only.
An initial membership fee of Five Hundred Pesos (500.00PhP) shall be paid thru bank deposit/online banking or at PAMET Office (for NCR members*). Renewal fee of Four Hundred Fifty Pesos (450.00PhP) shall be collected annually.
Annual membership dues shall be paid not later than December 31 of each year to the place membership, to be a member of good standing. Late payments shall be levied a penalty of no more than ten percent (10%) per annum.
For members who are 60-64 years old, 20% discount on registration fee during annual convention shall be given. They must pay full membership dues.

For inactive members, they shall pay the membership fee amounting to PhP 450.00/year plus a surcharge of PhP 35.00/year for their membership to be reverted back to active status.
Inactive members shall NOT be allowed to register as new members.
There shall be three (3) major categories of individual personal membership, which can be given voting privileges following compliance to prescribed requirements; Regular, Diplomate, and Fellow. There shall be two (2) other categories - Associate and Honorary, with no voting privileges.

Membership to the association is said to be inactive, suspended or terminated:
Suspension or termination of membership may be imposed after due process, by the Committee on Membership in coordination with the Committee on Professional Ethics, based on the following grounds but are not limited to:
Inactive and suspended membership may be reverted back to active membership after payment of all appropriate dues and penalties and after having served the prescribed disciplinary measure, if any.
Terminated membership may be reverted back to active membership upon recommendation of the Committee on Membership and Committee on Professional Ethics. It must be approved by the Board.
Members who are qualified to upgrade for Diplomate and Fellow categories shall apply to the Committee on Membership and satisfy all prescribed requirements.
